We are pleased to announce that our USO Northwest 2017 Red, White & Blue Golf Classic, Dinner and Auction, was an outstanding success! Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, golfers and volunteers, USO-NW raised more than $274,000 in support of our region’s service members, their families and our veterans. This single-day fundraising event is the largest golf tournament supporting our military, featuring over 430 golfers, sponsors and attendees, including almost 100 military participants.

Despite golfing in what could be considered the worst possible weather conditions for a Newcastle June afternoon, we congratulate the National Guard team, which won the coveted “Chairman’s Military Cup” with a score of 64. We also congratulate the golf team from Chateau Ste Michelle, who won a scorecard playoff, taking first place overall with an impressive score of 57.

At USO Northwest, our mission is to support America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation. With our volunteers and partners alike who support us in our efforts, we are able to serve more than 750,000 local and traveling military personnel and their family members annually. Through your generous support, you play a tremendous role in our critical mission to deliver USO’s specialized program and services to so many of our military members and their families. We appreciate your generous and heartfelt support.

On behalf of the entire staff at USO Northwest, and all of the military families you helped support, we wish to thank you for your involvement. We hope you will continue to assist us as we support America’s service members and their families. USO Northwest – where your partnership ensures that you will continue to be the “Force Behind the Forces”!
