USO Volunteers Bring Christmas to Children at Madigan
For the last two months volunteers from USO Northwest’s Shali Center (located on McChord Field, JBLM) have been holding a toy drive to give to military children during this holiday season.
As Christmas quickly approached, they decided to reach out to Madigan Army Medical Center on Joint Base Lewis–McChord to see where their efforts could make the most impact. They found out that there were a number of military children who would be spending Christmas in the hospital.
As a result of their volunteer efforts, each child received holiday gifts, an inspiring visit from our volunteers, and a very Merry Christmas.
