USO Northwest Surprises Military With Pop Up Chick-fil-A!
Military family thanking Gary Sinise and the USO Northwest for the delicious Chick-fil-A sandwiches.
On Tuesday March 31, the USO Northwest teamed up with our partner The Gary Sinise Foundation to create a pop-up Chick-fil-A on JBLM to distribute meals to military and their families!
We reached out to the family readiness groups, senior enlisted, and our Facebook supporters about this special event. With only one day notice, we were amazed when folks were lined up at 1500 ready for USO Northwest’s Chick-fil-A sandwich giveaway scheduled for 1600!
Car after car filled with smiling military, spouses and children pulled through the America’s Credit Union drive thru to pick up Chick-fil-A for dinner, courtesy of the USO Northwest and The Gary Sinise Foundation.
Thanks to the generosity of The Gary Sinise Foundation, 500 active duty service members and their families enjoyed a night out with Chick-fil-A for dinner. Thank you Chick-fil-A Lakewood for transforming the ACU drive thru on Lewis Main into a pop up Chick-fil-A!
USO Northwest and The Gary Sinise Foundation were pleased to provide this special treat to our military and their families during this unprecedented time of social distancing.
Stay tuned to our social media as we plan more events soon.
