Teenage girls headed to their proms all face a common challenge: what to wear. USO Operation That’s My Dress is a star-studded event that gives military teens the chance to pick out a brand new gown or cocktail dress from some of the most recognizable names in fashion.
Operation That’s My Dress begins with a Fashion Show, featuring professional models showcasing evening/formal wear by world class designers. The event also typically features a Beauty Bar with jewelry and fashion accessories for participants to get a completely accessorized look from head to toe. A Dress Expo, filled with hundreds of dress options, opens after the Fashion Show and models pair up with attendees to help them find the dress of their dreams. During the Dress Expo, stylists are on hand providing hair and makeup demonstrations and consultations to give participants additional resources to help them feel confident and beautiful.
