USO Oregon Outreach volunteer Steve Rutter amasses over 1700 hours of service

USO Oregon Outreach volunteer Steve Rutter has been a loyal and trusted volunteer with the USO in the Portland area since 2017. He proudly served our nation in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Amassing over 1700 volunteer hours, Steve continues his service at the Center every Thursday and continues to be our most active outreach event volunteer. Steve has made countless road trips around Oregon supporting Family Day BBQ’s, military children events and deployment ceremonies. Steve epitomizes what “Making a Difference” means. His smile and willingness to help others is inspiring. The USO is proud to recognize Steve as one of our most amazing volunteers.
