About this Location
USO Northwest’s Portland Center supports local and traveling service members and their families at the Portland International Airport with flight information, travel assistance, snacks and local area military discounts. With the help of over 100 volunteers, our Portland Center serves more than 1,400 service members and their families each month through center and outreach programs and services.
In 2018, USO-NW completed an expansion project to our center to better serve our military service members and their families traveling through the Portland International Airport. The expansion project doubled the size of the USO center, improving service delivery to traveling service members and their families. The project added a children’s playroom, expanded lounge, and secured luggage storage. The goal of this program is to lessen the stresses of separation for service members and their children.
